Joanna Henry is a South Carolina based painter and ceramicist. She is an ArtPop Street Gallery alum and the Artist Development Specialist for the Catawba Indian Nation. Her work analyzes Afro Caribbean and African American culture, its connections, and the positioning of a black woman as the author. Reclaiming the narrative through her compositions in the process.
